Dental insurance is often provided by your employer and it is your responsibility to be aware of your eligibility and benefits. The contract between your employer and your insurance carrier have been set and they have determined the fees, reimbursement, and amounts you will be held responsible for each dental visit.

Each dental insurance carrier and the policies within each insurance carrier have their own set of benefits, deductibles, and co-pays. Camas Dentistry staff works hard to verify your eligibility and benefit details to be able to give you estimates as accurate as possible. However, these are only estimates and the final determination is your insurance carriers' decision. We do our best, but we are not responsible for missed benefit limitations of your dental plan.

In our experience, these companies that provide dental insurance have been known to deny services that are not necessary or bundle multiple services to reduce payment to the dentist. Rest assured, Camas Dentistry will always provide you with what the dentist feels is the best service without compromising care due to limitations that your dental carrier imposes upon you. However, ultimately you are responsible for paying any costs incurred during your dental treatments that your insurance company does not cover. Please be aware, insurance companies often only pay a portion of the cost of the dental procedure leaving you responsible to cover the remaining portion.
